First and foremost, I’m a girl
The name is Shavonne, currently 18 (finally)
I’m a polytechnic IT student, amateur squash player, avid reader, aspiring aesthete and sometimes, an annoying ass. And yeah, I’m on friendster. More or less. It tells me people’s birthdays, mine is November 20. You know what to do now…

Some people say I’m a computer addict, but I beg to differ. I love what the computer can give, but not the computer itself. In fact, I spend half the time screaming at it.
It’s like how I like feeling clean and nice but don’t really like the process of bathing. So maybe you can call me an internet addict.
Okay no, call me Shavonne.

Moving on, I love fattening food. No, that’s not right. It just so happens that whatever food I like is fattening, such as chocolates, ice cream, fries..
Another thing is, uh, half the time when I type fries I end up with fires so I think maybe I’m secretly a pyromaniac.. Muahaha.
Okay back to the topic. I hate diets, I’ve been on them forever and they don’t work. Honestly, the only time to eat diet food is before the steak arrives.

Next, on every weekday, my family pays to have me dragged out of bed to this place called Temasek Poly. Very cruel, I agree. Hahaha. Anyway the course is called Interactive Media Informatics, a ridiculously long name that tells you nothing about what I study. If I study.
Okay I do, too much sometimes, but I enjoy what I do. Thats whats most important afterall yes?
I’m not crazy about working in groups for projects though. It’s easier to procrastinate when I’m alone, hahahah.
Still, it’s not like I have a choice half the time so I tell myself there’s no “I” in team.
…There is a “me” though, if you jumble it up. Hahaha…
My cca is squash and I do not appreciate the jokes about squash..squashing people. Just so you know. (:

I enjoy reading, all kinds of things. Books ranging from silly romance novels to Terry Pratchetts Discworld series to books like The Kite Runner or A Fine Balance. As long as it can draw me in such that it’s like looking through the mind of the characters, I’ll take it.
There is also my bunch of IT magazines which are very precious to me, mainly because of exhorbitant amount of money paid for them.

And.. I’m a hopeless romantic although I honestly do have a rather lowly view of guys in general. Couldnt find a place to slot that in so it has a paragraph by itself. Nice huh.
I’m attached to the sweetest guy on planet Earth. (:

Uhm ok, I’m pretty good with ridiculous conversations. And rambling. Like now.
I have some kinda wishy washy idea about my future life, but then again, I have some kinda wishy washy idea about everything.
Most of the time I’m just a very happy person.

Heard of Jesus? Yeah He’s mine. Haha. I tell you, He is one cool dude. One day I was just wandering around in my rather sad life eating fries and He pick me up and totally changed my life around. And He stuck ever since. So did the fries, but thats just a minor detail.
He is where I put my joy, cause He never disappoints.
I know deep down that I have been forgiven much and this path of life is just to slowly understand the love He has given me.
Oh the beautiful grace of God.
I thank God for Pastor Prince and my church. Through His preachings I have learnt so much about the awesome endless love of DaddyGod for me! It has been really wonderful (:
